Dag 1: Arrival at Dakar international airport. We met you and transfer you to Mbour city (84km south of Dakar).Check in Petit Eden lodge or chez khady lodge. Overnight.
Dag 2: Check out early in the morning and departure around 7: am to drive towards Senegal Eastern-south region. Visit a local village along the way. Arrival in the evening at Wassadou village near Niokolokoba Park. Check in one of Wassadou eco lodges. Overnight.
Dag 3: In the morning you will have some walking tour (2-3hours) to visit nearby villages and interact with local people. Afternoon transfer to Niokolokoba Park for a game drive Safari to watch savage animals like baboons, antelopes, buffaloes... Overnight at Simenti lodge near the river Gambia. Day 3: In the morning you will enjoy a boating tour in the river Gambia to watch the virgin wonderful nature and hippos, crocodiles. Check out after the boating tour and transfer to Kedougou capital city of this south-eastern side of Senegal. In the afternoon you will visit Bandafassi village. Overnight in one of Kedougou lodges.Nieriko lodge or Bedik lodge.
Dag 4: After breakfast we drive towards the Bedik village where we park our car to climb the hill to visit Bedik Iwol village.(2hours for climbing and walking down the hills).You will visit these minorities ethnic groups of Senegal who saveguard firmly theirs traditions and cultures. Under the guidance of the local chief you will be presented the village and get some explanations about their culture. Pic nic for lunch and continuation to Ndindefelo village with its amazing waterfalls. Overnight in the community lodge.
Dag 5: In the morning you will have a walking tour to visit the waterfalls where you can swim in the natural swimming pool formed by the waterfalls and relax at the heart of that virgin nature. You will walk back to the village community lodge to arrive around midday. You will have opportunities to interact with local people. In the afternoon you will climb the waterfalls hills to discover the source of the water and the small village living on that secluded area. Overnight same lodge.
Dag 6: Check out in the morning and with our vehicle we drive towards Etiolo village to visit Bassari tribe one of the minorities groups in the region. You will visit the village with the assistance of a local guide. Overnight in Etiolo lodge community.
Dag 7: Check out in the morning and continuation with your vehicle to visit Salemata village and its high school if open. Then you will drive towards Kedougou city overnight in Nieriko lodge or similar.
Dag 8: In the morning relaxe and transfer in the afternoon to Tambacounda city. Visit of a village along the way. Overnight in Relais de Tamba lodge or similar.
Dag 9: Check out in the morning and we go ahead towards Sinesaloum region where the majority tribe is Serere's people. Visit Kaolack crowded market along the way. Arrival in the afternoon to Simal village. Check in Simal lodge located at the border of the Sinesaloum river.Relaxe and overnight.
Dag 10: In the morning you will enjoy a boating tour and fishing party in the river Sinesaloum.In the afternoon you can choose from the following activities: Horseback riding activity or visiting the local village on foot or by a horse drawn carriage. Overnight same lodge.
Dag 11: In the morning you will enjoy horseback riding activity or visit the nearby village and relax. Check out around midday and transfer to Ndangane fishing village where you will take the boat for Marlodj Island. Lunch at the island. In the afternoon you will visit Marlodj village with its sacred tree and interact with local people. Check in Bazouk lodge or Similar. Overnight
Dag 12: In the morning you will enjoy another fishing party experience and transfer back to the lodge around midday. Check out and transfer to Ndangane fishing village. Lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to visit joal-fadiouth shell village to discover the rich cultures of Serere people. Under the coach of local guides you will learn more about the Serere's local cultures. Continuation towards Mbour city. Visit its impressive fishing harbour along the way. Check in Tama lodge or Campement Le soleil lodge or Ndaaly lodge. Overnight.
Dag 13: In the morning you will visit Mbour orphanage center and can spend a volunteering day helping nurses to attend orphan children and make donations if you want. In the afternoon you can also visit Mbour handicap center.For your souvenir you will take time to visit Mbour handicraft market. Overnight same lodge.
Dag 14: Check out and departure at 7:30 am for Dakar-Goree excursion: At 9:30 am we transfer you to Dakar dock to take the ferry boat for Goree Island (25mins boating) the former slave trade center. Visit of the slave house museum, women museum and historical museum. Stroll around that beautiful island. Possibility to have lunch on the island. In the afternoon you take the ferry back to Dakar for a city tour to discover some highlights: Presidential palace, independence square, old cathedral, colourful markets, art craft markets and galleries, IFAN museums... Dakar is the capital of Senegal and it is a modern city with more than 2 million people. The city features beautiful contemporary buildings, combined with historical colonial houses. It is vibrant, with active open-air markets, cafe terraces, and delicious food. Dakar is also a shopper's paradise, where exquisite crafts can be found in markets, on the streets, and in stores throughout the city. Overnight in calaos lodge hotel or Atlantic inn-hotel or similar. (You can enjoy Dakar night's life with its cafes, nightclubs, concerts...
Dag 15: Check out and transfer to Dakar international airport according to your inward flight hour. End of the tour.
